New ownership as of Aug 1, 2024. Noticeable differences upon arrival are that 90% of the tables now have table cloths/coverings and no more hip hop/R&B music replaced with country and and easy listening. The temperature in the restaurant is cold, I grabbed a light blanket from the car to be comfortable but the food cools off fast because of it. The fried chicken seemed the same but the amount of sauce was definitely less. The heartbreaker for me was the wellbeing chicken, similar flavor but the crisp skin just wasn't there. The staff was kind and even brought samples of their mango Lassi for us to try. Will we be back? Maybe, but if im going to drop $100 on 2 chickens and a couple side I want amazing food and experience.

This is a really cool little spot on Havana St. It's one of the anchor stores in an Asian mini strip mall per se area. There is plenty of Asian food, desserts, and entertainment on this block, but you have to try Angry Chicken! Hands down some of the best Korean Fried Chicken in all of Colorado. When you walk in, there is a hostess stand to your right. To your left is a huge bar with one of the best assortments of Colorado craft brews on tap from top local breweries, i.e., Launchpad. Front & center is bar like seating and where they normally have like a DJ spinning music and/or live bands playing. To the right is additional seating and booths. We were greeted by a very friendly and smiley server. She got us some water and gave us a few minutes to review the menu after telling me about the restaurant since it was my first time there. I was referred by RLamar Clothing CEO; Ricky told me I must have the honey garlic Korean Fried Chicken wings and a side of white rice. He was not wrong at all. Let me explain this chicken to yall!!! Beautifully fried chicken wings, they were not greasy. They were tossed in their honey garlic sauce! This is one of the most tasty sauces I have had for some wings. If you have the willpower to let them sit for over 5 mins because they are so good & addictive and then take a bite, you will be in heaven. These wings transform; the sauce now that it has settled is like candy coated wings in an amazing honey garlic glaze. Candied coated Honey Garlic Wings is next level, I tell ya! Cheat code number 2; pour some of that honey garlic sauce over ya white rice. Now, experience bliss. The combo is amazing on rice. They have a full bar also, you can have craft brews, cocktails, shits etc. You can even have Boba drinks if you like if you are not into alcohol. There is a full line of different Shoyu drinks, too. Follow them on IG, Facebook, etc, so you can see their special events, too. I got to experience their RnB Night. It was amazing!!! For $35, you got to have all you can eat wings, two drinks, and listen to a DJ spinning 90s RnB. This was perfect as you got to experience all other flavors of their chicken, i.e., Hababero Mango, Lemon Pepper, Honey Garlic, Original, Spicy Soy, Sweet & Spicy, Salt & Vinegar. My top 3 are: #3 Habanero Mango, #2 Salt & Vinegar, #1 Honey Garlic. They had two very flavorful barbecue sauces to try to. The best thing about their sauces is that they are not just Spicy they a packed with flavor, so the spicy is pleasant and not just kick. Overall, the vibes were fantastic, great RnB playing, dancing, great drinks, chicken, sides, etc. The service was great, people refilling water glasses, clearing plates, taking beverage orders, etc. This is one of my favorite new places, but the #1 KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN spot in Colorado. I'm not trying to be funny, but they deserve a Michelin star for their Honey Garlic Chicken alone. Who do I talk to, to get Michelin people to come experience this place. If you are in Colorado, drop down to the Aurora area and experience the best if the best!!!

QUESTION I Love really good American fried chicken which is hard to find here in Aurora. I've never had Korean fried chicken and am afraid that I might not like it. Maybe the crust will be too thick or soft or greasy.... Can someone offer their thoughts as to how it compares to crispy Southern fried chicken?

Had to go back to Angry Chicken after the Yelp event! Got my two favorite flavors: honey garlic and salt and vinegar. My husband was impressed with the flavors too.

Tried their classic fried chicken lunch option and swapped out the fries for a salad. Also got a side of their corn. Was surprised by a $1.00 take out charge. Haven't ever seen this before. So I ended up opting out of adding any tip. What made it worst about this was there was no plasticware, napkin nor salad dressing with the order. It was pretty empty since it just opened but my order was ready to go. The chicken was delicious and salad though naked, was super fresh. Corn was interesting and a healthy sized option for multiple folks. I couldn't wait to eat my leftovers the next day and they were still super good. So glad this place is here and looking forward to going back again

I came back as promised before, but this time with my family. I couldn't wait for them to try the chicken wings at Angry chicken. We ordered 40 piece wings. Our first order came out quickly, hot and fresh wings were served. Yummy! I ordered honey garlic, original, habanero and spicy soy wings. All of them delicious as always, my family really enjoyed it. The service was a little slow but it's because there were many tables to attend just for two servers. Bathrooms were clean, and also the dinning area was nice and neat. Our server was really friendly and helped us out choosing more flavors. I guess this will be our next favorite spot for hot wings in Aurora. I totally recommend Angry chicken when you are craving delicious, fresh and crunchy chicken wings. I'll be back again and again and again...

I stopped by for a Yelp event the day before and I just kept thinking about the Salt and Vinegar fried chicken so I had to order a DoorDash order the next day so my sister can try it too. The chicken was still super crunchy when it arrived at my door. And it was hot and you can smell it. Delicious. The salt and vinegar is still my favorite. The bbq sauce drizzled over Korean fried chicken was delicious. The honey garlic is a classic favorite that still stands out. Very nice staff and the owner is such a nice person and super friendly. I've had the original chicken at the food truck previously. Overall delicious local Korean fried chicken place in Colorado.

Service was phenomenal!! We didn't eat a wing that we didn't enjoy. The mango habanero was my favorite. Owner gave shots and even celebrated with every table. It felt like we were at family's house for dinner. I will absolutely be back and you'd be missing it if you didn't try. Go during happy hour and bring a few friends
